About X-wall!

Interactive X-Wall is based in Hengelo and originated from a simple observation. As a community sports coach, Maikel Rijnenberg noticed that fewer and fewer children were participating in local sports and exercise activities. That changed when he organized an afternoon of laser gaming with a Fortnite theme, inspired by the immensely popular online game. To his surprise, dozens of children showed up, playing, running and having fun. This success gave Maikel, with a background in sports science, the idea to develop the interactive X-Wall with his partner Erkan Kuzucu.

At Interactive X-Wall, we are committed to health, education and innovation. Our goal is to get everyone moving, contributing to people's health and physical well-being.

We see elementary schools as the ideal place to get many children active. That's why we have developed more than 35 educational games that align with the learning goals of the SLO. With the X-Wall, schools can easily integrate active learning into the curriculum without extra time or effort. This is how they take the next step toward a more dynamic school day.
