Active Learning with the X-Wall

At Interactive X-Wall, we are convinced of the added value of active learning. The X-Wall makes active learning not only more fun but also easier. Here, you can read about the best ways to use the X-Wall.

Learning Together

The X-Wall can be used in various ways, which we consider very important. The educational games are designed so that they can always be played by multiple students simultaneously, as learning together is always more enjoyable than learning alone. However, if a student needs individual support, there is certainly room for that as well! To provide more insights into the possibilities of the X-Wall, we have developed different game formats.

Game Formats

The X-Wall is designed to offer a wide range of game formats, whether you want to play solo or in teams against each other. There are four game formats that everyone can enjoy for educational and active fun.

1 player

GAME 1

INDIVIDUAL

The games are well-suited for individual play or for working with a student on specific areas that need extra attention. All other games can be turned off, allowing focused work on a particular learning objective.

2 players

GAME 2

DUO

With two players, the X-Wall becomes even more fun! Have classmates compete against each other or challenge a student as a teacher. It’s ideal for extra practice in subjects like math or language. All other games can be turned off, allowing focused work on a specific learning objective.

4-16 PLAYERS

GAME 3

RELAY RACE

Run back and forth to the X-Wall and then tag a teammate, in other words: a relay race. It becomes even more exciting when played against other teams. You can touch the screen with your hands or a special foam stick, or even shoot a ball at it. Set the learning objective and get a large group moving! Increase the distances to the X-Wall to make it more challenging. Every game on the X-Wall can be played in relay format.

4-16 PLAYERS

GAME 4

RELAY RACE INCLUSIVE OBSTACLE

A variation of game format 3, the relay. Introduce obstacles between the X-Wall and the teams who need to move back and forth and tag each other. These obstacles can be simple items like benches or cabinets, or even a full obstacle course. This game format ensures a large group is moving with lots of fun. Every game on the X-Wall can be played in obstacle format.
